Reaction™ offers maximum treatment control and the consistent penetration of heat using CORE™ technology which incorporates multi-channel RF with vacuum therapy to initiate three different processes: deep tissue heating,mechanical stretch and mechanical massage.

Each of CORE™’s four treatment modes applies a specific frequency that targets different tissue depths, from superficial layers of the skin to the hypodermis. The application of RF energy to the dermis and subcutaneous layers deploys heat to underlying tissues to:

• Increase diffusivity of oxygen released by blood cells and increase cell metabolism.

Fibroblasts are the major cells in the dermis which produce collagen and elastin fibers. With time, cross links are formed between the collagen strands rendering the fiber less and less elastic.  This process leads to the first visible signs of ageing on the face including uneven skin tone and texture, wrinkles and folds around the eyes and mouth, and stretch marks on various areas of the body.

What is it? The Pellevé Wrinkle Reduction System is a new and highly effective way to refresh your appearance without the need for needles or surgery. Pellevé safely and effectively treats facial wrinkles with virtually no pain, no anesthesia, and no downtime. With just a single, one-hour treatment, you could be on your way to firmer, tighter skin—with results that can last up to six months.

 

Pellevé delivers constant, gradual energy to the skin, causing heat to build up where the skin and fat layer come together. The increasing heat modifies the collagen bundles deep inside the skin, causing them to contract and stimulating the growth of new collagen over time. This results in firmer, tighter skin.

First, a protective gel is applied to the face. You may feel a deep warming sensation when the doctor touches the area being treated with the Pellevé handpiece. Treatment report: PRP therapy

WHAT IS IT? Dubbed Dracula Therapy because it uses your own blood, platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) has been used for some time to help tendonitis, arthritis and inflammation of joints. It is now being used in cosmetic medicine to give anti-ageing benefits, repair scars and reverse sun damage.

WHAT HAPPENS? Blood is taken from the arm and then spun in a centrifuge that separates the platelets from the red blood cells for

10 minutes. The resulting mix is then injected into the skin to stimulate regeneration, promoting new tissue growth, an improvement in skin tone and a radiant glow.

DOES IT HURT? A local anaesthetic cream can be applied to the skin to numb the area.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? Around 45 minutes.

DOWNTIME? You can look slightly red for a few hours and it is important not to wash or clean your face until the following day.

ANY SIDE EFFECTS? As your own blood is used there are very few risks or side effects but there could be bruising at the treatment site.
