What should I expect? Here’s a step by step guide.

Come to your consultation prepared with some questions about your treatment expectations. You will learn how Macrolane can be safely used to meet your treatment needs, and you will be asked about your medical history. When you leave your consultation, you should feel well informed about Macrolane,  know how it works and you what results to expect.

Macrolane Treatment?On the day of your treatment you will have the chance to discuss the details of the treatment again. Ask for answers to any new questions you may have. The body enhancement treatment is normally performed using a local anaesthetic. A Macrolane procedure typically takes  30–90 minutes. Macrolane is injected into the area you wish to have treated and the results can be seen instantly.

Post-treatment?After treatment you will receive post-treatment guidelines. It is normal to notice some swelling, redness, tenderness, pain, bruising or itching, at the injection site, during the first few days after Macrolane treatment. Regular non prescription painkillers are usually enough to treat this discomfort. Although most people quickly return to normal daily activities, it is recommended to take it easy immediately after treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise or massaging the treated area for 2–3 weeks. After a breast treatment, wear a supporting bra for 2–3 weeks and do not sleep on the stomach.
