Celluma works in a similar way to how plants absorb sunlight, converting it to a resource used for generating plant tissue. Because of this, it is known scientifically as 'phototherapy'.
Using a combination of blue, red, and near-infrared light, Celluma's light-emitting diodes - more commonly known as 'LED's' - trigger a natural response which stimulates skin renewal. Our cells gladly absorb these concentrated light particles and use them as energy to boost cell function. This sees a vastly accelerated production of vital proteins and enzymes that, in turn, have a big effect on skin quality. As a result, Celluma helps not only boost circulation and subsequently firm the skin, but also eradicate any pimple-producing bacteria.
Celluma is fantastically anti-inflammatory (which is why it is so successful as a method of pain management). Because of this, Celluma is something of a wonder-treatment, and it would really be quicker to detail what it doesn't do.

There are no known side effects of Celluma, and it is typically considered safe for all skin types (subject to a medical assessment).
It should, however, be noted that Celluma is best avoided by those who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, as well as those with a history of epilepsy or over a known tumour/metastasis.
There is no formal recovery period associated with Celluma. In order to reap the best benefits, however, you will need to let the skin complete a renewal cycle and therefore optimum results will be seen after weeks 3-4.
Immediately. Celluma is about as invasive as a sunbed treatment, and therefore will not prevent you from returning to work whatsoever.
