Considering Rhinoplasty: Fears, Expectations and Personal Experiences

I'm 30, have two children, and a loving husband. Everything is wonderful, but I've always been a long-nosed duckling and I've remained so. My husband affectionately calls me long-nose, says he loves me just the way I am. But I myself feel that this isn't me, every morning looking in the mirror and seeing an obvious flaw HAS BECOME TIRESOME. I want to be beautiful, everything else about me is perfect, both body and soul. I would have a rhinoplasty, the only thing I'm afraid of is that they might make it worse, as there are unsuccessful surgeries. They will have to cut off the excess part and construct a new one. Also, my nose is a bit too wide, how will they trim the wings? What if my nose becomes asymmetrical. That's what I'm afraid of. Has any of you had surgery? Or is anyone else plagued by the same problems.. I'll be eagerly waiting for your messages.

"I'm 30, have two kids, a loving husband. Everything's wonderful, but I've remained the long-nosed duckling I always was" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣what did you think, that my nose would shorten with age or something. And generally, if you correct one flaw, they say something else will pop up, unexpectedly for you and will start to make itself known.

Go to a good doctor, on recommendation. It's better to have a rhinoplasty done by the "open" method. As with this method, the surgeon can guarantee the result. I had a rhinoplasty after an injury, everything is fine and nothing is noticeable. Before the operation, you need to quit smoking, as the tissues of smokers heal worse.

Not at all.. It's not necessary that the author will dislike something else about themselves after this.. There are OBJECTIVELY disproportionate parts of the body.. Like I was fat, I didn't like it.. I managed to lose weight, and didn't find anything else to dislike about myself.. Everything's super, I adore myself!😊 Self-esteem has increased... And what's the logic, if someone loves you "as you are" then you don't need to change... If YOU want to - then you need to!

I'm certain, OP wants to have the operation not for her husband, but for herself!!!! If you can't love and accept yourself as you are, then change!!! And don't rush with the choice of surgeon, in his hands - your appearance and consequently your future attitude towards yourself!

I've got a big nose too, you could say very big. For me, it was also a terrible problem, but only until I was about 20. I dreamed of having surgery, but I never did. Now I'm 36 and I feel completely comfortable with my nose, I've never lacked admirers, I married a handsome man, and we've been married for 15 years. When we first started living together, I told my husband that I was thinking about having surgery, but he categorically forbade me from doing so, saying that I wouldn't be me anymore. Stop torturing yourself and love yourself just as you are.
