Meet the Team

Dr. Aamer Khan

There are medical doctors and then there are cosmetic doctors – Dr. Aamer Khan combines the best of both worlds by offering his patients his expertise coupled with full-service care. Dr Khan is the Clinical and Managing Director of the Harley Street Skin Clinic, a highly respected private practice specialising in Cosmetic Medicine in London’s Harley Street. In addition, Dr Khan is former Medical Director of DCL Europe.

Dr. Khan stresses that his clients are patients (rather than clients) and he prides himself in building and maintaining a continuous relationship with them including complete medical attention and service. Dr. Khan looks after his patients as a whole person. Since graduating from The University of Birmingham in 1986, he has had diverse medical training including Dermatology, Surgery and Psychiatry and Human Psychology. As a former General Practitioner now working in the private arena, Dr. Khan offers his patients a competitive advantage. To be ahead of the game he is continuously improving both his general knowledge and his physical skills and techniques, which is of benefit to his patients.

Aesthetic Medicine

When it comes to aesthetic medicine, Dr. Khan claims, “I have a good three-dimensional perception of how the body works and will ask ‘what can be done’ rather than just focusing on the obvious. By doing a full health assessment including medical history, diet, lifestyle and psychological and social background I get a better understanding of how the ageing process affects my patients and help them implement both reparative and preventative programmes”.

Harley Street Skincare

Harley Street Skin Care is a range of advanced skin care products launched in 2007. Having had experience as Medical Director for DCL Europe and DDF, Dr. Khan and Lesley Reynolds Khan have formulated a skin care line that is directed towards getting results.  The Khan’s developed their own brand after identifying the need for a high performance range that takes into consideration the needs and wishes of the consumers as well as giving the physician a powerful tool to combat the common skin concerns that they see.

Harley Street Skin Care products are formulated with the most advanced ingredients to treat acne, rosacea and all signs of ageing. The range also includes sun protection, body care and products just for men.

Dr. Khan loves working with people and is constantly challenging himself to improve the treatments. It will be a challenge for his patients to find a doctor that offers such width of expertise and service. In Dr. Khan’s capable hands each patient will be looked after as a full person.

Dr Khan is a member of GMC, BMA, RSM and IHAS

Lesley Reynolds Khan

Lesley Reynolds Khan is a skincare and beauty expert who has been at the cutting edge of anti-ageing treatments for over 20 years.

After training in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian head massage and reiki, Lesley opened her own holistic skincare clinic where she focused on anti-ageing and acne treatments; which soon became her specialty. Regularly training and working in the US, Lesley was inspired by the advanced technology and was one of the first people to introduce cosmeceutical products to the UK market as MD of Jan Marini Europe and later distributor of dermatological brands DCL and DDF.

Lesley co-founded The Harley Street Skin Clinic ten years ago with her husband, Dr. Aamer Khan. Together they make a winning team, combining their use of pioneering technology in anti-ageing with their many years of first-hand experience in treating skin conditions and a highly personal approach to treating each and every patient as an individual. There is very little that they don’t know about skin and have put all this shared knowledge and expertise into their own skincare brand, Harley Street Skin.

In addition to running a busy Harley Street clinic, Lesley and Dr Khan still find time to write a weekly anti-ageing column in The Daily Express and Lesley is a columnist for Best magazine. They are regularly featured in the press and on TV.

And if that isn’t enough, Lesley shares all her insider anti-ageing secrets in her first book, Look Younger For Longer, which was published by Pan Macmillan in September 2010 and is fast heading its way towards the best-sellers list.

Dr Sandeep H Cliff Bsc (Hons) FRCP

Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon

Dr Cliff is keen to ensure that patients are fully informed at all times of their diagnosis and the treatment options that are available to them. He sits on a number of patient groups and appreciates the importance of good information but also the importance of honesty at all times. A large number of patients are referrals from satisfied patients who have seen him before and that is one of the best adverts for his services. Dr Cliff does not advertise his services.

Dr Cliff is keen to ensure that patients have the options to have procedures done on the day of consultation if both convenient and practicable to the patient. This option for some patients helps to reduce the anxiety of waiting for treatment and the result and also for many busy people avoids unnecessary visits to the hospital. However patients at all times have the option to defer the treatment until a more suitable date can be found – this can be discussed and organised on the day.

Dr Cliff is a Consultant Dermatologist and undertook his dermatological training in London at St George’s Medical School and in Lisbon, Portugal. As a dermatologist he has been trained in the diagnosis and treatments of skin diseases which include diseases of the hair and nail. Since the skin is the biggest organ of the body it is clearly prone to a lot of ‘diseases’ from birth to death. In the young the main issues relate to skin conditions like eczema and infections like warts, impetigo. In young adults a major issue is acne, oily skin and changing moles. In the older patient skin cancer is a major problem as well as hair loss both in men and women. As a fully accredited dermatologist, Dr Cliff has developed expertise in the management of these conditions.
