Follicle rejuvenation
PRP, or platelet-rich plasma therapy, is a famous medical approach that addresses healing and growth in your body. It was initially used for injuries to tendons, ligaments, and muscles but is now applied in cosmetic procedures. PRP therapy works as a hair loss treatment that promotes the growth and preservation of healthy hair.
In general, people call them “Dracula treatments” because, as you can imagine, they use our body’s natural resources to heal and restore. It enhances blood circulation in the scalp and promotes existing hair follicles and growth factors, which has helped many to restore their lost hair. Approximately 120 cc (similar to a usual blood test) is drawn and spun during the procedure in order to separate the PRP. This highly concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then injected very carefully into the scalp, and this process delivers crucial growth proteins directly to hair follicles, allowing tissue repair, which in turn makes them healthier and thicker-growing hair.
