Scrotox involves the use of Botox injections. In order to relax the cremasteric muscles. These muscles regulate the tightening and loosening of the scrotum in reaction to stimulus or temperature. In addition to making them look smoother and looser, relaxing them may also lessen discomfort from too much tightness.
Scrotox is a non-surgical treatment used for aesthetic enhancement, and can only last for a short time. Typically around 3 to 6 months. The scrotal lift is done surgically to tighten and transform the scrotum. It has long-lasting benefits.
Just like Botox treatment or any other cosmetic procedure, Scrotox starts with a consultation with your doctor to discuss your concerns, medical history, goals, and expected results.
During the treatment, the scrotal area will be cleansed and your doctor will apply a numbing cream to make you feel comfortable. A fine needle will be used to inject the Botulinum toxin substance into the target area. The botox dosage will depend on your particular needs.
You can resume most of your usual activities after the procedure, but it is advisable to avoid strenuous exercises or heat surroundings for a few days.
There may be some redness or swelling but these symptoms normally fade away quickly. Results can be seen after a few days.
The process is fast and straightforward usually taking 15 to 30 minutes to perform.
Scrotox is generally safe because it is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment. It uses substances called Botulinum toxin, which has been widely used in medical and cosmetic procedures for a long time. Make sure that you get the treatment from a certified and well-experienced doctor to avoid any risks of complications.
Most patients do not feel pain at all during their Scrotox treatment. However, if you have low pain tolerance and you want to be more comfortable during the injection, your doctor may apply anaesthetic cream to ease any pain.
There is no evidence of a direct effect on sperm production. The testicles, which create sperm, are not the target of Scrotox. Also, Scrotox has no direct effect on erections or sexual performance because it doesn’t alter the erectile tissue or penile muscles.
It is therefore unlikely to affect fertility or sexual performance.
By relaxing the cremasteric muscles and creating a smoother and looser appearance, Scrotox can make the scrotum appear slightly larger. However, it doesn’t actually make the scrotum or testicles bigger or more volumetric.
Calling your doctor after the treatment is crucial especially when you are experiencing unusual symptoms. These may include, too much pain or swelling in the injection area, fever, or pus in the treated area. Allergic reactions such as itchiness, rashes, or difficulty breathing. Also, if you feel numbness in the area and you are having trouble urinating.
Scrotox is not permanent as it can only be enjoyed for three to six months.
Our body tends to break down the botulinum toxin gradually; when this happens, the nerve will bring signals to the muscles and will restore their functions. As a result, the scrotal skin will return to its usual appearance.
