What do I need to know?

Lash Lift at work

A Lash Lift is designed to help individuals who want to have longer and fuller lashes. It can lift and curl your natural lashes. Lifted lashes provide a more awake and relaxed eye. It is perfect for individuals who want their beauty routine to be low-maintenance. It is perfect for events or occasions, and if you do not have access to your go-to cosmetics on your vacations or getaways.

What is the difference between Lash Lift to Lash Extension?

Lash Lifts can enhance your natural lashes. A chemical solution is used to make them curly and elevated. There are various lash types you can choose from. On the other hand, Lash Extensions use synthetic hair lashes to attach to your natural lashes. Both procedures can create fuller and longer lashes.

The key steps

What can I expect during the procedure?

Step 1: Cleansing and Bonding Gel - Your lashes will be cleansed to remove makeup and oil residue. Protective curling shields will be applied to protect the eyelids. These silicon shields serve as moulds and have different sizes and shapes to match the look that you want.

Step 2: Lifting Solution and Processing - After the lashes have been brushed up into the bonding gel, they will be treated with a mild lifting agent for 20 minutes.

Step 3: Product Removal and Nourishing - The silicon mould will be removed after the processing time and the lashes will be cleansed thoroughly. A nourishing lotion will then be applied for hydration and definition of the lashes after the treatment.

How long does the process last?

The procedure usually takes about 45 minutes up to an hour, depending on your technician's process. This lets the chemical solution settle in and gives time for the technician to ensure optimal results. This is also a good option for busy individuals who have limited free time.

Safety and Comfortability

Is it safe for sensitive eyes?

Some clinics offer a hypoallergenic eyelash Lift procedure. Choose a reputed clinic and a well-trained technician. They know how to handle individuals with sensitivity. It is always best to consult your doctor before having an eyelash lift or any cosmetic procedures.

Is it painful?

No, it is a painless procedure. You may experience a slight discomfort because of the chemical solution used during the process, but it should not be painful.

Lash Lift Before & Afters

The remarkable difference a Harley Street Skin Clinic treatment can provide

Lash Lifts - also known as 'Lash Perms' - involve using a special chemical agent at the root of the lashes to create longlasting curl and lift. This gives the appearance of longer, more defined and separated lashes without the need for cosmetics. That's right - you can leave those eyelash curlers and mascara wands exactly where they are! So, how does it work exactly...?

STEP 1: Cleansing & Bonding Gel - The first step in the process involves cleansing the lashes of makeup and oily residue, and then applying protective curling shields to the eyelids. These silicone shields act as moulds for the lashes to form a curve around and therefore come in a selection of sizes and shapes tailored to your desired finish.

STEP 2: Lifting Agent & Processing - Once lashes have been gently combed up into the bonding gel, they will be treated with a gentle lifting agent and left to process for up to 20 minutes. It is at this stage that some patients additionally opt to treat the lashes to a tint (a sensitive dye used to darken the lashes) for a touch more drama and impact.

STEP 3: Product Removal & Nourishing - Once processing time is complete, the lashes are thoroughly cleansed and the silicone moulds removed.
