The SmartXide results can be permanent, but because our skin ages naturally, the results will diminish over time. To get the best results, you need to consider having an initial 3-4 treatments. Yes, there are treatments that you can possibly combine with SmartXide. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy can be applied after SmartXide for the overall improvement of your skin’s texture and tone as well as to promote healing. Some treatments, like Botox or dermal fillers, microneedling, and chemical peels, can be combined usually after the treatment or when the treated area is fully healed. It is best that you consult your doctor for proper recommendations.
If you are experiencing severe or prolonged swelling, redness, or pain, and you have blisters scabbing, burns, and excessive peeling, you should call your doctor immediately because these could be the signs of problems and might put you in danger. Moreover, indications of infections like fever, chills, pus, unusual discharges, and red streaks should be treated by your doctor immediately. Lastly, if you are experiencing a delay in healing, changes in your tone colour, strange textures, itchy rashes, or hives, get in touch with your doctor as soon as you can. Those signs should be handled and treated properly.
It is not recommended to wear makeup after your SmartXide therapy to let the treated area heal properly and to avoid infection. The intensity and depth of your treatment will determine the timeframe when you can be allowed to continue the use of makeup. It is important that you follow your doctor’s advice and go signal before applying any makeup to your face.
