Emface is a cosmetic procedure that simultaneously treats facial skin and muscles on the face by using electromagnetic stimulations and radiofrequency. Emface works by combining two technologies, which are the High-intensity Facial Electromagnetic Stimulation (HIFES technology) and the Synchronized Radiofrequency Energy (Sync RF). It simultaneously lifts and tones facial muscles while reducing wrinkles and improving the texture of the skin.
How long does Emface last?
Emface results are long-lasting. It can last for a year. A maintenance treatment is recommended once every 6 months or once a year to maintain the results.
Your face will be cleansed before the procedure starts. There is no need to use anaesthesia as it is a non-invasive procedure. Emface applicator will be applied in the target area such as the cheeks and forehead. The EMFACE technique feels like a facial muscle massage with a warmth feeling in the treated area.
You will experience warmth and muscle tightness, but it won’t be painful. Your face will squint involuntarily because of the muscle contraction, and it is just normal.
Some patients may have slight redness and tingling immediately post-procedure which subsides after 24 hours.
How long does the Emface process last?
The Emface treatment can be done quickly, more or less around 30 minutes to process.
Emface facial rejuvenation is a very safe procedure. Although there can be minor side effects like redness, dryness, and headaches as reported by some patients. This is likely normal in cosmetic procedures. It usually subsides after a few hours or days.
Is it hurtful?
The treatment is designed to tighten and tone facial features without the need for needles or surgery. You will just feel a slightly warm sensation because of the radiofrequency effect, and your face will squint involuntarily as the HIFES contracts your muscles.
Emface needs four to six treatment sessions and should be done weekly to get the best results.
When will I see the results?
The results can be slightly noticed after 3 to 4 weeks. Full results can be seen after 2 to 3 months, once the recommended number of sessions is completed.
Although it rarely happens, see your doctor if you are experiencing redness, swelling, or discomfort that doesn’t go away. You should also visit your doctor once or every two weeks as Emface treatment needs 6 sessions to get the full results.
Can I wear makeup after the treatment?
Emface is non-invasive and has no downtime. You can immediately apply makeup right after the procedure.
