@rachellouise.cardillo · 2 months agoThese are two identical substances, only the commercial names are different. The effect lasts from 4 to 6 months. But it's all individual. Consult with a cosmetologist - they will tell you how many units to inject in your specific case.

Christine Prince
@c_prince · 2 months agoIn principle, it's one and the same. The only difference is that you need to do a test on a small patch of skin, to see if Botox or Dysport will work on you - because sometimes, rarely, individually, but still, Botox doesn't work.

@idizio · 2 months agoGoogle it, complications from Dysport occur in 33% of cases (drooping eyelid). From Botox - seemingly in 3%. My beautician says that Botox is better (although yes, Dysport is apparently Botox-based). I've heard from friends that Dysport gives you a headache and a stiff forehead, while Botox acts gently.

Sophi Szuca
@sophi.szuca · 2 months agoBotox and Dysport contain botulinum toxin type A as the active ingredient, but the quantity varies, as does the composition of accompanying substances. The nature of the effect also slightly differs; Dysport can sort of "spread" to neighbouring areas from the injection site, achieving a softer smoothing of wrinkles. Much depends on the doctor's experience.

@s_duffell · 2 months agoThe main thing is to control your facial expressions afterwards. Because this wrinkle mainly appears due to negative emotions, so there's a direct benefit 😆.

Poenaru Codreanu
@p.codreanu.82 · 2 months agoBut isn't it one and the same? I have a very pronounced frown line. 8 months ago, I had a Dysport injection. The next day, the blood vessels in my eye burst. The entire white of my eye was red. But the wrinkle smoothed out a bit. A month later, I had another filler (hyaluronic gel) injected into the same spot. My forehead looked completely youthful. Now, the effect is gradually fading, the wrinkle is deepening again, but I don't want to "wrinkle up".

Shanaz Birk
@s_birk · 2 months agoFor two years in a row, I've had Botox, but now I've booked in for Dysport, having read a ton of reviews both positive and negative - it's a contentious issue, I must say. For me, Botox wears off quickly, only lasting about 3 months. I've had it in my forehead, between my brows, and under my eyes. I'm going to try Dysport, it might be better. As for nasolabial folds, neither Botox nor Dysport are used for injections there, only hyaluronic acid is injected into the nasolabial folds. For me, the effect has lasted over a year already.

Michelle Simina
@michellesimina · 2 months agoPerhaps it's worth holding off on the Botox? What if you get it and then can't frown your forehead at all? Try just moisturising your skin to start with, I can recommend regular hyaluronic acid injections. I used a product called Meso-Xanthin, it'll freshen up your skin too.

Lanie Pajak
@lanie_pajak · 2 months agoAll my friends prefer Botox, only the forehead is injected between the eyebrows, otherwise the eyebrows will drop, only 15-25 units. I have 21😂. In 2 weeks you can have more if needed somewhere. It lasts differently, depends on the person. They inject about once a year, you can't do it often. While Botox is in effect, you can't massage, stimulate the forehead. Anything that can speed up the body's biological processes, speeds up the removal of Botox, it also lasts less, the same goes for active sports.
