I've been suffering with spots for over 20 years and nothing helps, no matter how many dermatologists I've seen, no matter how many things I've tried, nothing works. Even Proactiv, which helped all my friends who used it, didn't help me. 😟 Now it's winter, and thanks to the cold, my skin isn't as oily, I'm also using Proactiv just for the sake of applying something. But new spots keep appearing, and my skin is all rough and coarse.

Roaccutane helped me initially - not a single spot while I was taking it (and I took it for a year). Then after stopping, the spots started to plague me with even greater force, even in those areas that were completely clear before taking Roaccutane (forehead, chin). Now I'm saving myself with Benzoyl Peroxide and masks made from Badiaga. With these remedies, the skin is more or less normal, at least it doesn't look terrifying without makeup.

Hello, girls. I'm here with the same issue - spots, oily skin😟. I'll tell you a bit about my experience. This problem started around Year 11, I'm 19 now. Foolishly, I started using foundation. Girls, if you truly want healthy skin, chuck your foundations to the wind!!! Seriously, it clogs your pores, doesn't let your skin breathe, and generally hampers the regeneration process. When it dawned on me that I was only making my skin condition worse, I gave up on it. Switched to light powder, girls, there is an effect, because as of today, I sometimes go out on the street without any makeup at all, with clean skin. There are problems - these are spots here and there from squeezing, but they only show up in the cold. My skin gets very oily, before my period, I get these bumps - such deep internal spots, you should never squeeze them under any circumstances. My saviour now - Levomekol, an ointment, but you need to apply it carefully and spot-wise, because it's quite greasy and if you smear it all over your face, you can clog your pores, but in general, it's an excellent antiseptic and good for drying out. Another very important thing - nutrition (!) It's not for nothing they say, we are what we eat. I couldn't completely give up sweets and flour, but I've significantly limited myself in this + healthy eating - no mayonnaise, crisps, and fast food... definitely include greens, fresh vegetables, fruits, green tea, so rich in antioxidants, in your diet. By the way, many recommend a course of calming or mint teas, as a common cause of spots is nervous disorders.

Anonymous 27- I'm not lying! There's no need for harsh comments! You should go to the Dossier section on this page, head to the forum, everything is broken down by topics there. In the Problem Skin topic, all acne treatments are discussed. People write about this issue. And there are articles with information. I don't know where you were looking.

People, you can swallow tablets and smear spots, spending a fortune. But here's a simple and effective recipe - I've even forgotten when I last had spots anywhere. It's all simple - in the mornings instead of breakfast, porridge on water. You can have it with honey and lemon for taste. After a month, you'll forget about problems altogether. Well, unless they're of course caused by some real diseases, like worms for example 😆.

Though, you know, the problem of enlarged pores and spots is internal. I have a sick stomach, when I go on a special diet - everything disappears, and when I neglect it - it appears again. So, there's no point in applying creams. You need to have porridge for breakfast, find out what allergy causes the reaction of spots or acne - it's often coffee, sugar, artificial additives.

About porridge made with water - it's very individual. I had a skin problem at one point. They recommended porridge made with water, and as a result, I got even more spots. I gave up on this disgusting water-based porridge and started making myself proper oatmeal, i.e., with milk, butter, and sugar, and in the evenings, I started drinking milk with honey. Roughly a month later, everything cleared up.

So, for some, in the fight for clear skin, milk (not kefir) may help, specifically milk, although for many it causes the appearance of spots. Also, besides including milk in the diet, it's better to give up processed meats and black tea.

Mmm.. a bit more about what I've tried and what helps me. Oh, what haven't I tried, what haven't I experimented with.. Here are my favourite "recipes" 😆. 1 - green tea, I buy loose leaf, pour boiling water over it, lightly rinse it afterwards to get rid of any small debris that might be there, so only whole leaves remain, then I brew them again, tearing them into small pieces and applying them to problem areas, to the scabs from sores. 2 - Levomekol, I wrote about it earlier. 3 - Garnier Pure Skin face wash and mattifying cream, Garnier steaming mask. 4 - I've tried Skinoren, Benzoyl Peroxide. I liked Benzoyl Peroxide more, even though it dries out the skin. But the main thing - don't pick and believe that we will have healthy skin! 😊

I've never had spots, but enlarged pores on my nose - that's a nightmare! I have perfect velvety skin, but I have to powder over blackheads, which always clogs my pores, but I can't go without powder, even though I use gel and lotion twice a day, a scrub once a week and nose strips every other week. Only after a sauna, there's really nothing there, but not for long. I have another problem - my skin type is dry sensitive, i.e. when I cleanse my pores - it gets better, but my nose peels and it's even worse with powder. I'm scared to even think about foundation and I don't want to, I want to stop powdering my nose altogether.
