Large Nose Owner Seeks Advice and Solidarity

I'm the owner of a rather large nose, not humped, of course, but straight, somewhat long and wide, tell me, does such a nose really look ugly from the side? I understand that the only solution to this problem is rhinoplasty, but I don't have that kind of money yet, and my complex is such that I don't want to leave the house, scare people. Are there any other "lucky" ones like me, how do you live?

All my life, I've been tormented about my nose and my forehead. A hairdresser once told me in my youth that I had an ugly little forehead that could be hidden. And all my life, following her foolish advice, I veiled my beautiful (truly) eyes and uniquely (truly) beautiful eyebrows with a fringe. Then (alas, this happened at 40) I spat on everything and changed my hairstyle - I grew my hair, which I pull into a sleek bun - the dream of my entire life, which I could never previously allow myself due to an "ugly forehead", and "big nose". And, strangely enough, everyone suddenly noticed how much I'd improved. And my boyfriend really loves my little nose and kisses it with pleasure. By the way, I noticed that a host of stars have exactly such "defects" of appearance, which, by the way, does not prevent them from shining. For example, Uma Thurman herself. She, with her nose (size and shape exactly like mine) - a star and a beauty standard, and I suffered until 40, tormented by memories of how I was teased as Pinocchio in childhood.

I've got a rather large nose. Personally, it doesn't bother me. I couldn't care less that some people have neat, cute little noses. On the other hand, I have a fabulous chest, long, straight, slender legs, and thick, long hair, big eyes. This isn't showing off. And the fact that you too have plenty of beautiful, stunning features, don't sweat it!

I've got a big, long, and somewhat oversized nose too, but I've never even thought about it, despite all this, I'm still quite the beauty and the blokes don't give me a pass. I reckon, it all depends on how you perceive yourself. Love yourself and everyone will love you!!!!

Oh, my hair also leaves much to be desired, my lips are a bit thin, I slightly stoop, I have flat feet (which makes my legs a bit crooked), cellulite, even though I'm not fat, long arms, my skin isn't great. But overall, I'm quite alright, with plenty of admirers.

As a child, teenager, and young adult, I too struggled with my nose, which had a bump. And only after turning 30 (thank God, I didn't get it fixed) I realised that it added a certain spice to me. It's very important when a loved one reassures you that everything is fine, everything is beautiful. I often emphasise my daughter's beautiful features so that minor flaws don't seem dominant against them. After all, we tend to fixate on our flaws 😟.

Perhaps it's not all that terrible for you, and your complex is unfounded. My nose is small, even, and perfectly straight (the tip of my nose doesn't bend up or down). Thus, I had a complex about my nose until I was about 20. I thought that only girls with upturned noses could be beautiful. Moreover, both of my friends had upturned noses and I was terribly envious of them. But now, I believe that my nose is more beautiful than all the upturned ones.

The thing is, I have prominent facial features - big eyes and lips, my chin, however, is a bit small, and my skin isn't great. I've been on rhinoplasty websites, where girls are altering perfectly fine noses because they think they're long and disfigure their faces, there's this ideology - a woman should have a small, neat nose, and to hell with such individuality. So, the thought keeps running in my head - maybe a big nose really does spoil the face..

Chemistry would suit you, whether it's large or small curls for long hair - it detracts from the length of the nose. Look at Jewish girls (or any Eastern ones), they're very beautiful, with a bunch of curly hair, large noses, even with a hump, what's wrong with that? It's also beautiful, there's no need to strive for an average ideal, seek beauty in your individuality.
