Bruises appear after the swelling subsides. And the swelling in the first 3 days is terrible - up to the middle of the cheek. To get home, you need dark wraparound sunglasses. You can more or less be around people after about two weeks, but slight puffiness lasts a bit longer, there may also be blood spots in the whites of the eyes - these take about a month to disappear. I don't know about local anaesthesia.

Nah, the most horrific post-op period is after mechanical dermabrasion (sitting for a week with a stinking black crust on your face, then a month with a _very red_ face, then half a year with just a red one...). After a mammoplasty, one's movements are limited - it hurts to lift your arms and so on. After blepharoplasty, there's minimal pain, but you definitely won't become a beauty in 3 days. You can probably go to work, just cover up the bruises, explain your swollen appearance and be ready for the emergence of bloody streams from your eyes (mine started on the 4th day, there was nothing before that, but it's probably just the pressure increased - not everyone has this).

They did a comprehensive procedure on the lower part of my face. They didn't touch the upper eyelid and forehead. I also managed to correct my broken nose. All this together resulted in bruises under my eyes for about three days. But whether they're from the eyes or the nose, I don't know. Surprisingly, everything went quite smoothly. Now, I would like to have my upper eyelid done as well, but for some reason, I'm scared. Not of the bruises. But of the moment when I have to lie down on the table. That's the scariest part.

I'm totally against surgeries, it's dreadful........I once saw a woman and was in complete shock when I found out how old she was, she was 40 but looked about 27. What it means to properly care for your face, some French skincare routine. I asked her... and immediately recommended it to my mum, the result was instant and obvious, I didn't even suspect that such a real lift exists! This cosmetics isn't sold in stores, only through the company's manager, if anyone's interested, I can find out the number in principle.

I had lower blepharoplasty with an incision under the eyelashes. It's been 18 days already. When I look slightly downwards or sideways, my lower eyelids seem to pull away from my eyes. It looks like ectropion. It's unsightly and rather scary. I asked the surgeon what to do. And he just says go home and calm down. That's it. Girls, if anyone has experienced this, please respond. Perhaps I need to do some specific exercises.
