Girls! I want to have a nose job . But it's not just aesthetics for me, I need to correct my nasal septum, I had an injury. So, I've been to several clinics and they told me they can't guarantee the results, as I have thick skin on my face. Has anyone encountered this??? Or is it just that I didn't turn to the pros?

I agree. If the skin is thick, no matter how well the cartilages of the new nose were formed during the operation, no matter how intricate the work the surgeon did, the nose under the thick skin will not be exactly as the surgeon planned, it will not be as elegant. But if you are only correcting the septum, then the thick skin is irrelevant.

I've got both a septum and aesthetic issue, as due to an injury, the appearance of my nose has changed. So what am I to do now - walk around like this for the rest of my life? With a crooked nose? How can I refine my skin? Or do they simply not want to take on my case😭😭😭😭Maybe, there's some way out?

My skin is very thick and problematic. I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty. The result is quite different from the computer modelling, but nevertheless very sweet, much better than before. The problem is that such skin is capricious - swelling lasts longer, sebum secretion after surgery is crazy, inflammation developed under the cast, now everything is fine - I do mud masks on my nose two to three times a day. You have to be ready for problems after rhino, then it's not so scary 😊

I've had surgery, and for the third week now, an inflammation under the plaster on my nose isn't healing, and there are wounds now. My skin is oily. Dunno, I'm worried, applying ointments.

Thick skin - one rhinoplasty/ as a result after 2 years the nose is still like a potato/ turns blue in the cold/ swells up in the morning/ slims down by evening/ *****!

They sent me home, said that whatever they did to the cartilage, they'd still put the thick skin back on and there would be no result.... I wanted to narrow the tip of my nose with a potato.

I've had Four !!! Rhinoplasties and I have thick skin, the result is satisfactory but not at all what I wanted, it will never be small, it will never have a good shade, saved by additional contouring.
