Eyebrow Lift Advice: Botox or Fillers?

Hello everyone! I want to slightly lift the outer corners of my eyebrows, correct the sad look. The cosmetologist advised either Botox or hyaluronic acid. I have a rough idea of the effect of Botox, I've seen some unsuccessful examples, but I heard about fillers in eyebrows for the first time. Has anyone had such a procedure? What's the result? Maybe there are other ways (apart from drastic ones)?

Intense Pulsed Light: Real Experiences and Effects?

Ladies, has anyone undergone procedures involving intense pulsed light? Could you share what problems might arise? What effect can be expected? I consulted at a beauty salon, they said that the rejuvenation effect is significant, but initially there might be swelling, crusts. Sometimes beauticians might omit something during the consultation, so as not to "scare off" the client.

32 and Aging Rapidly Despite Healthy Lifestyle Changes

I'm 32, and over the past year, I've aged significantly. Yet, in terms of diet and lifestyle, I've started to take better care of myself. I sleep more, eat well, and all that. I look old, older than my peers. But I've always looked not so great, my face started to sag when I was about 25. Now I have forehead wrinkles - I've cut a fringe. Wrinkles on the bridge of my nose - I'm considering getting Botox. Crow's feet - probably Botox as well. And just the other day, I noticed that I'm starting to get marionette lines ☹️ And one of my eyelids has swollen. And all of this is happening asymmetrically. It's just awful. What to do??? My husband looks great, he's 36, but looks 30 at most. He's slim, I'm skinny, not tall, I dress relatively youthful - puffer jackets, fur coats, jeans, but still, people address me as 'woman'. It makes me want to go and hang myself.

Holiday Beauty Treatments: Manicure to Lipolytics, Boyfriend Disapproves!

Girls, I so want to treat myself in honour of the holidays! I want to do at least something... laser rejuvenation, eyelash extensions, it's time for a hyaluronic acid injection. I'm thinking of getting hair extensions and trying lipolytics. But my man is categorically against everything. And he threatens. What's next? Might he even forbid me from getting a manicure????

Dealing with Under-Eye Wrinkles at 30: Seeking Advice

I'm in a panic😆 After 30, fine WRINKLES have suddenly started to appear under my eyes=😆 They're not too visible yet and my skin is firm and my cheeks are as rosy as a matryoshka doll's, thanks to exercise and a proper diet, but these wrinkles under my eyes😂 How do I combat this? Botox seems a bit premature, I'll try it when I'm about 40. For now, I'm having salon treatments like dermabrasion and masks, I want to try mesotherapy😆 Please tell me what to do, dear ladies😂

Does Hair Botox Increase Density After Keratin Treatments?

I have very fine hair, it frizzes, gets static, the ends bend in different directions, and in humid weather it's all bad. For about 4 years now, every six months or so, I've been getting keratin treatments and I'm very pleased with them, but there's one downside - the complete lack of volume! When the volume returns, so does the hair start sticking out in all directions again - the keratin washes out. I want to hear from those who have had botox. Does it make your hair denser? Tell me what products you used.

Botox Injections Not Working: Could Sweat Be the Culprit?

Ladies, can anyone in the know please advise? Yesterday morning, I had Botox injections: between the eyebrows, forehead, and around the eyes. I walked home in the heat and, naturally, I sweated. I was expecting guests in the evening, so I was running around like a headless chicken - cleaning, cooking, etc. And, of course, I ended up soaked through again. It's now midday and the Botox isn't taking effect at all, not even a hint of it. This is my second time, the first was just under a year ago. The first time, the Botox took effect by the middle of the next day, but now there's no sign of it. I'm worried, what if it doesn't work because I sweated so much? Plus, when the doctor started injecting me, I felt unwell there: I felt nauseous, then hot, then cold, but then I was fine, I came round. In short, please reassure me.

Community Topics Anti ageing

Anti ageing are marks or indentations left on the skin after severe acne heals. They can appear as raised, depressed, or discolored areas, resulting from inflammation and damage to the skin tissue.
