Find out how Colin got on with his Facial Treatments at The Harley Street Skin Clinic
We're fortunate to have worked with many faces in our time - including a few you might recognise. We wanted to check in with some of our favourites to hear all about their Harley Street Skin experiences. That way, you're able to approach your own personal journey with a little bit more confidence. How does that sound?
Here's what legendary GB Gold Medalist, Broadcaster and World Record Holder, Colin Jackson, had to say about his skincare advice and facial treaments at Harley Street Skin...
Yes, I do. I had talked to friends who have been to the clinic and they said how amazing it was and how much they loved it so I thought it would be a great idea to pay them a visit.
My problem areas would have to be my skin. In my job, I'm very active and outdoorsy - and because I travel so much I suffer from dry and tired skin. When I spoke to Lesley, she was able to fix that right up.
Before I came to Harley Street, I had never found products that kept my skin fully hydrated throughout my day but the Harley Street Skin Care Range is just brilliant. I love how it makes my skin feel and that it works - I don't travel without it now.
Yes, very happy. I could feel the difference in hydration immediately, and my skin looked and felt much healthier. It was exactly what I was looking for. As I spend so much time in air conditioning, retaining moisture can be difficult. The facials that were recommended to me were perfect.
It was actually the fact that Beverley Knight - who is a dear friend of mine - is huge fan and spoke so highly of the clinic and its excellent reputation.
I thought if I was to begin looking at new ways to care for my skin, there would be no better place to start, really.
I actually just had a facial, so less of a procedure and more of a treatment, but what was great about it was that everything was explained to me as we went along. I suppose in a sense, that does make it a bit of a procedure!
I'm sure some people just want to zone out and relax, but I was interested in hearing all about what they were going to do and the reasons behind it.
I came out feeling thoroughly relaxed and like I learned a little something, too. It's really helped me maintain a great skincare even when I can't make it into the clinic.
Well, this will probably make you laugh, but I had one of the best cups of tea I've had in awhile! That was really delicious, does that count as a perk? Something about it was so homely that it really relaxed me. It's like the treatment started from that moment on.
Aside from that, just knowing that my skin is being looked after is more than enough of a perk. Definitely.
What would I tell people on the fence? Well, I would tell them that they should just pop in and have a chat to the staff. That is always very telling.
Getting to know the team at Harley Street Skin is all it takes for you to know that you're in good hands.
In addition to that, get feedback from people who have been to the clinic. If it's as gleaming as Beverley's recommendation then I'm sure you won't be sat on the fence for long [laughs].
It would definitely be my first port of call when coming back from a long, tiring journey.
I think it's probably now my turn to start with the recommendations...
