By the time you arrive at the clinic, your reconstructive surgeon willwill start drawing where they’re going to make their cuts.
The process is typically straightforward and performed under local anaesthesia. Inverted nipples, on the other hand, would require very small incisions at the base of your nipple in order to access and release milk ducts that cause it to be pulled inward. This is where the ducts underneath are either cut or stretched, depending on severity, pushing the nipple forward.
