What is Buttock Injections?

Natural Curve Enhancement

How does Buttock Injections work?

Buttock injections, more commonly referred to as non-surgical butt lifts, are one of the most sought-after cosmetic treatments today and it is not difficult to see why. The nutation and counternutation of this body part are performed by injecting dermal fillers, or other biocompatible materials, into the buttocks, thereby allowing patients to achieve a fully developed and proportional bottom without needing invasive surgery. It is the perfect choice if you are seeking more a rejuvenated look with no downtime.

Compared to traditional surgical procedures, such as Brazilian butt lifts, buttock injections are minimally invasive and usually don’t involve incisions, sutures, or long recovery periods. Fillers are typically made of natural materials including Hyaluronic Acid or Poly-L-lactic acid, which are naturally reabsorbed by the body. The results are less long-term than a permanent surgical solution but they are certainly lower risk.

The Benefits of Buttocks Injections

  • No surgery needed to enhance curves.
  • Fast recovery and almost zero downtime.
  • Customized to fit your body and goals.
  • Fuller, sculpted glutes improve body image.
  • Visible form and lift after first session.
  • Results last several months.

Best for

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections
A non-surgical procedure to improve volume and shape to the buttocks

Hyaluronic Acid fillers are a popular choice for buttock injections due to their ability to add volume and sculpt the glutes. The results are typically immediate, and the substance is naturally absorbed by the body over time, making it a temporary solution.

Classification: Non-invasive

Downtime: Minimal (1-2 Days)

Best for: Those who want a temporary but natural-looking lift and a little added volume.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) Injections
Boosts collagen to help firm and tone and promote a longer-lasting results

Poly-L-Lactic Acid is a biostimulatory filler that gets to work by generating the production of collagen in the area in which is is treated. It re-plumps and gradually restores fullness with natural-looking lift and improved firmness over time.

Classification: Non-invasive

Downtime: Minimal (1-2 days)

Best for: Anyone who wants longer-lasting results and prefers a more subtle enhancement.

Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) Injections
Delivers instant volume with the bonus of boosting natural collagen

Calcium Hydroxylapatite injectable fillers give an immediate lift to the skin, providing instant volume, while also triggering the production of collagen for skin firmness in the long term. Results are natural looking and long lasting, often lasting 12-18 months. This filler, being thicker, is used when a larger volume is desired in certain areas.

Classification: Non-invasive

Downtime: Minimal (1-2 Days)

Best for: Those who want a fuller more firm look with long term results.

The journey
Consultation Preparation Treatment Recovery
1
Consultation

The process starts with developing your plan with one of our expert cosmetic doctors. This is an important step in the process, because we want to pinpoint your objectives, go over your medical history and figure out whether or not you’re a candidate for butt shots. At your consultation, we will explain all about the treatment, what will happen during the procedure, and any concerns or questions you have.

2
Preparation

When you are approved for the surgery, the preparation phase comes next. This means making sure that are you healthy and have no reason you should not receive a treatment. If you have a particular medical condition or skin type then this may affect the decision, but also knowing what to do afterwards. You may be told to stop certain medication (e.g blood thinners) before the treatment.

3
Treatment

Following your treatment day, a topical numbing cream will be administered in the region of treatment to keep you comfortable. The implant is administered to the desired areas of the buttocks by a small needle. The process can take anywhere 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the areas to be treated. Some pressure and pinching can be felt while receiving the injections but the pain is typically minimized by the numbing cream.

4
Recovery

Patients go home the same day after the treatment. Swelling Bruising, soreness are the most often seen things on the treatment area after the procedure. These side effects tend to go away within a few days or a week. Results are immediate, but full results may not be realized until two weeks, allowing any swelling or bruising to subside.

The procedure
Buttock Enhancement Injections
How do buttock injections work?

Buttocks injections are performed with dermal fillers to add shape, volume, and contour to your glutes. The fillers are then injected in specific portions of the buttocks by hand in order to achieve a rounder butt and give the impression of a lift without going under knife.

Treatment Comfort Guide
What will I experience during the buttock injections procedure?

You might experience a slight pinch or pressure during the procedure at the time of filler content being injected into your desired location. The treatment is fast, and local anesthetic will keep you comfortable.

Pain Management Explained
Does the buttock injections procedure hurt?

The treatment is relatively painless due to the layer of numbing cream applied first. You might feel some slight discomfort or a little pressure, but it’s usually quite tolerable and any soreness will go away after a few hours.

Treatment Time Frame
How long does the procedure last?

Buttock injections can last from about 30 minutes to an hour depending on which areas are addressed. It’s a painless and simple treatment.

Benefits Of Treatment
Why do I need buttock injections?

Whether you want to improve the shape, volume, or lift in your butt without going under the knife, buttock injections are non-surgical alternative. It’s ideal for individuals who desire a more youthful, contoured shape with little downtime.

Suitable Age Range
At what age can I have buttock injections treatment?

People decide to have buttock injections between the age of 18 and 50, as in this age the body is usually healthy enough for procedures of that kind and given someone would like to give a new shape to his body. While there are no hard age limits, younger clients should be seeking enhancement, not correction.

Follow-Up Treatment Timing
When can I have another treatment?

You can generally get another treatment six to 12 months after your first, depending on how your body metabolizes the filler. It’s crucial to work with your provider to figure out the ideal timing for follow-up treatments.

Maintaining Your Results
How to maintain results?

To keep up the results following your buttock injections, it is crucial to adhere to a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and a balanced diet. This will help maintain your newly updated curves and keep the area toned and firmed.

Complementary Treatment Options
Do I need other treatments aside from buttock injections?

For some patients, that can be accomplished with injections in the buttock. But adding exercise, including workouts that target your glutes, to your treatment can help keep your booty looking its best over time.

Post-Treatment Skincare Guide
Can I wear make-up and use skincare after my treatment?

You can put skincare and/or makeup on the parts that weren’t treated, but stay away from the area that has been injected for 24 hours to allow the filler to settle. Once the time has lapsed you can begin your skincare routine as normal, but with caution.

Prices for buttock injections are generally higher in regions with higher cost of living. Those places are Mayfair, Kensington, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, and Notting Hill. Single session of buttock injections in these leading locations can start from £2,500 to £3,500, while premium packages or additional treatments might be much higher than this.

Conversely, markets with less demand and greater volume of aesthetic services may have cheaper opportunities. Some of the London (in East, South, North, West) may cost between £1,800 and £2,800 a session, but I think it all depends on the clinic, and the package they have at that particular time.

These are estimates only and the actual cost will vary from clinic to clinic, type of filler material, and the experience level of the injector. To find out how much and for a detailed conversation about your options, your best bet is to book a consultation. Book an appointment here.

The essentials

  • Avoid Sun Exposur: Too much sun or tanning may cause your skin to be overly sensitive at the time of your treatment. The use of sun-tanning beds should be avoided for at least 5-7 days prior to your procedure to enable your skin to achieve it’s in best possible condition.
  • Stop Using Certain Product: Refrain from using retinoids, glycolic acid or other exfoliating treatments at least a couple of days before your appointment. These lead to skin sensitiveness and enhance the risk of irritation during the treatment.
  • Avoid Other Treatments: If you’ve had any other skincare treatments like chemical peels, microdermabrasion or lasers, for example in the past two weeks, you should wait to receive buttock injections. These regimens may lead to increased sensitivity to injections.
  • Avoid Taking Certain Medications: Stop taking blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen for at least a week before your treatment as the medications can contribute to bruising and swelling in the area .As always, talk to your practitioner about any medications you’re on
  • Consult Your Doctor: It’s important to discuss any medical conditions, allergies, and your aesthetic goals with your practitioner. They will ensure that you’re a suitable candidate and clarify any expectations about the procedure.

  • Post-Treatment Swelling and Redness: You might see slight redness or swelling, but this will quickly subside. This is a natural reaction and will usually settle down over 2-3 days. And sometimes, bruising does result, and that too will diminish in a week or so. Healing rates vary, but most people are good to go again before too long.
  • Avoid Touching the Treated Area: For the first 48 hours, you’re going to want to keep your hands off the treated area, and resist the urge to massage it out. Massaging or applying pressure to the area could disrupt positioning of the shots.
  • Moisturise Regularly: It’s important to keep treated skin hydrated to avoid dryness or irritation. You can also apply a mild, non-irritating moisturizer to assist with the healing and keep the skin moist.
  • Avoid Harsh Products: Avoid use of products with exfoliating ingredients like retinoids or salicylic acid for at least two weeks. It can be irritating to you’re your skin and slow your healing process.
  • Wash Gently: Wipe the treated area gently to clean. Pat the skin dry using a clean, soft towel – do not rub the skin. Pat the region dry rather than rubbing it to keep irritation away.

  • Follow Post-Treatment Instructions: Follow the care directions given to you by your provider. This makes certain you have the best possible result and will help you to avoid future complications.
  • Avoid Direct Sun Exposur: Just keep staying out of the direct sunlight even after being cured. For protection from harmful UV rays which cause premature aging of the skin and can negatively impact your treatment’s effects, we recommend the daily use of sunscreens with any SPF 30 or above.
  • Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle: Eating a healthy and nutrient-rich diet and keeping active, especially with butt-targeting exercises, will help protect your results by keeping your butt’s shape and tone.
  • Keep Hydrate: Staying hydrated by drinking lots of water is good for both your skin and your health in general. Staying hydrated also supports the body to be lifted and toned.
  • Maintain Your Regular Skincare Routine: When you are healed, you’re free to return to your home skin care regimen, though you will want to take care not to aggravate the treatment location. Stay with mild, non-exfoliating products to achieve smoother, healthy skin.

Is Buttocks Injection good for me?

Factors to consider

  • Buttock injections are a safe, efficient treatment for most people, but it’s important to weigh your health and expectations before heading to the clinic. This procedure is not appropriate for pregnant and nursing individuals.
  • If you have pre existing health issues, including autoimmunity or skin diseases, or if you’re allergic to certain substances, talk to your provider about your medical history. Be sure to seek out a properly licensed physician if you are ready for this treatment.
The risks
What are the usual and adverse side effects?

Possible risks

As with any cosmetic procedure, buttock injections do have a bunch of potential side effects. These may include:

Usual Side Effects

  • Swell: You may experience some minor swelling, which usually goes away within a couple of days.
