The doctor will start by reviewing your medical history and asking about your treatment goals. The treated areas are applied with a numbing cream and after a good 45 minutes, a vial is drawn with a small amount of blood which gets centrifuged. Those concentrated blood components are then injected carefully into the clitoris, labia and G-spot to heighten vaginal sensation, reduce dryness and minimize discomfort during sex.
The O shot itself is an in-office procedure that lasts only about an hour. Most of that time is spent obtaining a tiny blood volume to isolate growth factors from it. Once this is processed, the actual injection into the desired areas of the clitoris, labia or vagina takes only 5 to 10 mins for completion.
The treatment is painless due to numbing cream being applied to the area that is to be treated. The injections, which take about 10 minutes, can create mild sensitivity and a little pressure.
The results of the O-Shot will occur in stages. The sensation in the injected area is increased during 3 to 7 days, that’s why it’s normal to feel tiny little pokes. The effect peaks at 3 months.
