GP Appointments

You can book your digital appointment by giving us a call at the clinic on 0207 436 4441.

Simply select your practitioner and work with our administrative team to choose an appropriate date and time slot for your appointment.

Availability-permitting, time slots will be available from between 9am and 7pm Monday to Saturday, and will last for approximately 30 minutes. During this time, you will be free to discuss any and all medical concerns in the absolute strictest of confidentiality.

This will depend on which method of digital appointment you select. Patients have the option to simply receive a telephone call with their practitioner of choice, or sit down to discuss their concerns using a compatible video-conferencing tool.

So we know just how to reach you, you will be asked your preferred method of contact at point of booking. This will save time during your appointment, allowing you the full 30 minute facetime with your practitioner of choice. Simply await an incoming call through the application you have selected during your designated time slot.

Please note that our bookings team will be more than happy to talk you through any logistics pertaining to your chosen application (e.g. instructing you on how to download any necessary apps/software) if you are unsure!

For iPhone users, Harley Street Skin makes use of the 'Facetime' video feature. This allows calls to be conducted from one handset to another simply using a patient's telephone number.

For Android users, however, Harley Street Skin typically conduct outgoing video calls using the instant messaging application Whatsapp. This will require that the patient has the Whatsapp application downloaded onto their handset prior to their appointment. If you have not yet downloaded Whatsapp you can do so by visiting the Play Store app found on your mobile device.

For those that wish to make use of a laptop, desktop computer or tablet, the Harley Street Skin Clinic makes use of the popular conferencing tool known as Zoom. For this, you will need to have Zoom Conferencing Software downloaded onto your chosen device. (You can download Zoom by clicking here). After downloading, simply launch the application, complete a short sign-up form (if you are new to the software), and then await a meeting invitation pop-up from your chosen practitioner. If you would prefer to communicate simply using audio, you will have the option to deactivate your webcam.

Digital GP appointments typically last up to 30 minutes. During this time, you will have ample time to discuss all of your medical concerns with one of our experienced resident GPs.

In special circumstances, appointment length may be extended if necessary. To discuss this, please do so with one of the booking team when choosing your appointment slot.

Another perk of taking your GP appointments online is the ability to receive medical advice outside of standard 9-5 office hours. Harley Street Skin Clinic time slots are available from from 9am-7pm, Monday to Saturday. Just remember to book in advance to secure the ideal time slot for your schedule!
